We are located on the beautiful California coast just south of Santa Barbara, where we do our development and manufacturing. We are seeking ENGINEERING INTERNS with hands-on knowledge and skills to participate in multiple phase of our Engineering/Manufacturing Design & Development process. The selected candidate will assist with mechanical design, analysis, assembly, and testing as part of an Engineering team creating Power Contactors capable of carrying and switching over a Mega Watt of DC current in a product the size of an apple. These electro-mechanical devises are a critical component of the Electric Vehicle, Solar and Wind Generation, Power Storage, and Fuel Cell Markets. Job Requirements Currently Enrolled in a Bachelor/ Masters degree program in Engineering, or related discipline. •General Engineering fundamentals, mathematics, physics, material properties. •Must have some electronics or computer based course work; Design/drafting/ CAD experience desirable.
