Company: Outreach360
Posted: Feb. 6, 2018

Outreach360 is looking for ten (10) STEM students to serve as interns at our 2018 Summer Dare to Dream Health Camps in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. As a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo,  you are invited to join us this summer!
Outreach360 is a non- profit organization that has been working in Latin America since 1994. Over 20,000 volunteers have joined us. Our mission is to assist underserved children to live a life of choice, to graduate high school fully qualified to attend university.  Our focus is on education.
This summer we will be hosting STEM Camps for our 5th and 6th grade students in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Our students are able to learn about basic STEM concepts by participating in fun and interactive learning projects, and some will then be inspired to pursue a career in a STEM-related field.
Our STEM camps depend upon college students willing to volunteer as interns during the summer.  Our interns make a huge difference to our students and have an incredible cultural learning experience as well.  More info.

We also have camps this summer in the areas of Health, Environment/Sustainability, Journalism/Communication, Performing and Fine Arts, and Business/Finance
